The next two albums, „06:21:03:11 Up Evil“ and „05:22:09:12 Off“ (1993) breaking the classic Front formula to bring in new singers, live guitars and drums, along with a new producer, Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Sonic Youth). This begins to redistribute roles and rules within the group, maintaining at the same time the scope of the invention and the radical attitude that accompanies it music by Front 242.

This initiates the redistribution of roles and rules within the group, maintaining at the same time the scope of the invention and the radical attitude that accompanies it music by Front 242.

During a 4-year hiatus (1993-1997), the band released the ‚Live Code‘ album, recorded during their last world tour, and “ Mut@ge – Mix@ge „, a compilation album where artists such as Prodigy, The Orb, Underworld, Rico Conning and others, suggest innovative mixes of Front 242 tracks. The 4 original members of the band reunited in 1997 and, with Germanos drummer Tim Kroker, and the live performances begin. Several live events follow album, capturing the energy and reflecting the numerous changes which came from the versions performed on stage.

After a long absence in the studio, comes the EP ‚Still & Raw‘ and the album ‚Pulse‘ in 2003, records based on the aesthetics of the decades of ’70 and ’80. Here the Front 242s recreate the original sound that was at the center of their art, enriched by 20 years of experience: analog technologies and vintage machines pulsating in deconstructed pieces where emotion and energy are still conveyed by a purely electronic attitude.

Having re-released their entire catalog in newer, enhanced versions versions the Front 242 continue to play around the world with the same level intensity, with the same success as always, followed and cheered by crowds of believers.
